As part of the first phase of school development we have completed the renovation of toilets. Distributed 90 school bags, 200 story books in English and Telugu languages. Also donated sports kits and drawing materials.
It was one of the finest weekend we had. All our team members and along with other volunteers, have visited the school and made it a memorable day. We got a warm welcome from the Head Mistress and children. A nice lunch was provided by the school management. Also a small cultural program was arranged by the school, for which the Local Addakula SI, Sarpanch and MEO attended the event.
Every one spoke about the formation of the school and how they struggled to bring it to a level where children can have a good education. While our team members spoke about why we have adopted their school, what are our curent and future activites for the school.
The kids have patiently listened to all the talks of the big leaders. Later they took over the event with their beautiful performances. Few of the performances gave us goosebumps and brought tears to our eyes. It was a heart whelming and inspiring day for all.
That’s how the day went well at the school.
It will always be the most inspiring event for the CHT team.
